Warranty and Return Policy Overview

At Kitchenspace, we are committed to delivering high-quality kitchens and closets built to the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Warranty Coverage

  • Goods are covered by a 2-year warranty against faulty workmanship and manufacturing defects from the delivery date, covering hardware and accessories. Wood items are excluded from the warranty.
  • Appliances, sinks, and mixers are covered under brand warranty. Warranty periods are as stated in the quotation; detailed terms are available on the manufacturer's website.

Warranty Exclusions

  • The warranty does not cover damage resulting from.

  • Any damage resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, accidents, or climatic conditions including heat and humidity.
  • Post-handover snag works will be inspected by the Company upon the Customer's request. Should the issue be determined to be due to misuse, additional charges will apply depending on the complexity of the work. Any additional panels, hardware, or spare parts required will be charged separately.

Returns, Damages & Missing Items

Once an order has been confirmed, it cannot be suspended or cancelled without Kitchenspace's approval. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the stage of production and materials procurement.

Order Cancellations

Customers or their representatives should inspect all products upon delivery and installation. Any visible damage, missing items, or incorrect products must be reported to Kitchenspace within 48 hours of installation completion.

Non-Returnable Products

As all kitchens, closets, and related products are custom-made to customer specifications, completed products are generally not eligible for return or exchange unless a manufacturing defect or installation issue is confirmed by Kitchenspace. This is implied by the custom production and approval process outlined in the terms.

Payment Terms

  • The Customer shall make an advance payment of 50% of the total order value upon placing the order. Production shall commence only upon receipt of this advance payment.
  • The remaining 50% must be settled before scheduled delivery and installation.
  • Failure to make timely payments may impact the project's delivery schedule.

Validity and Process

All prices stated in this quotation are valid for 7 days from the quotation date. Stock levels are subject to change without notification.

Production, Delivery & Installation

  • Production commences only upon receipt of the advance payment, contract signing, and final approval of all finishes, 
hardware, accessories, appliances, MEP drawings, and shop drawings.

Design & Modifications

  • All design variations and modifications must be reviewed and approved during the proposal phase. Once the order has been released to the factory for production, no further changes will be accepted.
  • Any approved changes shall be subject to additional charges and revised delivery timelines.
  • If appliances or accessories are client-supplied, complete technical sheets must be provided before production drawings commence to avoid delays.
  • After cabinet installation and final countertop measurements, the Customer shall approve countertop production and vein-matching drawings before fabrication begins. Any delay in approval may affect the delivery schedule.

Site & Access Requirements

The project site's lift/gate must accommodate a minimum package size of 250 cm (H) × 120 cm (W) × 120 cm (D). Stair carriage may incur additional charges.

  • The site must be fully prepared prior to delivery and installation, ensuring availability of electricity, MEP points, a clean and secure environment, air conditioning, and absence of ongoing work or contractors. The Company will not be responsible for any delays caused by an unready site.
  • Rescheduling a pre-confirmed installation date by the Customer is subject to the Company's calendar and availability. If products must be held at the warehouse, additional storage charges shall apply.
  • The Customer shall ensure all breakable items are removed from the premises beforehand to provide unrestricted access throughout.

Permits & Security

  • The Customer is responsible for all charges related to gate passes and community/building permits. The KitchenSpace/ClosetSpace team will assist, but the Customer shall be responsible for obtaining all required permits.
  • Any security cheque or deposit required to access the site and carry out works shall be the sole responsibility of the Customer.

Delivery Acceptance

  • Any changes to site conditions or design during installation shall be considered variations and associated costs shall be borne by the Customer.
  • Please sign the Delivery Order Note in the presence of the KitchenSpace/ClosetSpace delivery representative. Failure to do so will be considered as delivery acceptance.
  • The Customer or their representative shall inspect the work for any visible signs of damaged, missing, or incorrect items. In the event of any issue, retain the item(s) and contact us within 48 hours of completion of installation.

General Conditions

  • A confirmed order cannot be suspended or cancelled except with the Company's consent. The Customer shall pay all reasonable expenses incurred by the Company due to suspension or cancellation.
  • In the event of cancellation after advance payment but prior to goods reservation, the Company reserves the right to deduct 20% of the total quoted value to cover design, technical, and administrative services rendered.
  • In the event of cancellation after goods have been reserved, any deduction shall be determined by the Company on a case-by-case basis, subject to review of total expenses incurred.
  • Any drawings beyond the agreed scope will not be carried out.
  • All MEP works (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), including sink connections, civil works, dismantling or removal of existing cabinetry, and gas connection works, are excluded from the Company's scope and shall be executed by qualified and licensed contractors.

  • In cases where appliances or accessories are supplied by the Customer, an additional charge of AED 250 per item shall apply for installation.

Storage

  • The Company may store completed kitchens or closets in our warehouse for up to 1 month after completion. Storage beyond this period will incur a fee of AED 750 per day unless an alternative arrangement is documented.
  • The Company bears no liability for damages or deterioration beyond the agreed storage timeframe.
